Aria Mayland


Yoga is a tremendous healing and challenging practice for Aria, one that has helped her overcome "permanent" physical limitations and chronic pain. Aria brings this energy of all things possible to her classes. She encourages her students to breathe and feel their way through every pose, cultivating their intuitive intelligence within.


Aria allows for both solar and lunar sequencing, dependant on the cycles of energy in nature and on our mats. Her affinity for Shiva's style of Prana Vinyasa Flow, combined with her foundation training with Ana Forrest (emphasis on alignment, core strength, pranayama, and injury prevention) and her Power Yoga background with Bryan Kest all contribute to her hybrid style of flow. Aria is grateful for the influence of all her favorite teachers-- Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Ana Forrest, Brad Keimach, Hala Khouri and Saul David Raye. Aria may also include elements of Iyengar, Sivinanda, Anusara, Chi Gong, Tai Chi, or Ecstatic Dance in her yoga flow.
