Julie Adler

Julie Adler has been practicing and teaching Iyengar yoga since 1992 and is fully certified in the Iyengar tradition. She has studied intensively with senior teachers in New York, Paris and LA and she has spent time in Pune, India studying with the Iyengars.  She currently teaches at Cal State LA and Woodbury University in addition to privately.   She has served on the board for the Iyengar Yoga Association of Southern California, Los Angeles Friends of Tibet and the Cal Arts Alumni Association.  She also holds an MFA in Visual Arts & Music from California Institute of the Arts and continues a studio art practice.  And she is presently a producer on the monthly KPFK radio program, The Tibet Connection, so check it out at thetibetconnection.org to hear past segments because all things Buddhist lie deep in her heart.
